When the flowers are in the trash and the dress is in the box, you have your pictures. At eight to six months before you say I do, you should look for a photographer.
Where?
The yellow pages or the bridal websites.
I found my photographer through the yellow pages. He worked out of his home. This made it even cheaper for me.
What to do?
Make an appointment. Does this person fit the personality of your wedding and your family? Then you should ask about charges: the time, the album, extra pictures, overtime, and restrictions.
You should see actual work. Flip through wedding albums and see actual pictures of portraits.
What else?
Write down your must have wedding list. Then pass it to the photographer a month ahead of your day. Then give a copy to your wedding organizer, parents, and maid of honor.
